2nd grade

This is the journal from when we moved to my now-home-state. I had actually started writing most of my entries, so I won't be doing photos of all of them. I'll be editing names and the names of places as I deem fit. Comments in red are teacher notes. Comments from myself now are in indigo. At least I think that's indigo.

My best friend is Abbey D. becase she has my name. And she helps me she is 7 too and my favorite color is silver and her favorit color is gold. Wen my mommy peks me up I well look in my bookbag and get out my prasnt and I all ready know what it is. It is magic easter pant with glitter for easter and then I will hide them in the hard hidying plases. THE END.

Today is the 5th graders fill trip day. If ther fill trip bus bracks down. Mrs. Bates can be the substatot bud driver. It would be fun to have your own teacher be your bus driver.

Girls day
Yesterday I got a Loblolly Pine seedling it came with instruckins and a cup. I got it on Saterday.
(10-4-2010 I remember that thing, it came in a kid's meal of all things. I planted it and it lived until my Pop forgot about it and mowed it down. )

Last night I cryed because I couldn't see my mommy. And Mrs. Lolyd let me set next to her and I wached the singer and dancers instad. When I whent home I had my icecrem.

I don't really remember this other than it was like... not quite as school play. I remember some sort of steps were involved, like the kind you drag out for a school thing, not the kind you use to go from point A to point B.

Wednesday April 17th, 1991
When it was Yesterday it was vary foggy and when I looked out the side of the window I could not see a thing all I could see was lots of fog. I thoght it was neat because it look like falling snowballs. I was so silly.I fell funny and silly mixed up. And when I payed for snack I got 15¢ back. And I hope today will be a fun day.

Today I saw some girl raindeer. I thoght they were cute. A I saw them when they were runing into the farast. I f they were my raindeer I would name them Areal, Madonna, April, Autumn and Angala. Would'nt theas names be funny.

I was 7 when I wrote this and didn't know the difference between reindeer and white tailed deer. Those names should be Ariel and Angela.

I'm board enuf to play tic tac toe. Yesterday and the ater yesterday I spant the night at my Grandmother Jean's hose. I liked it. And I wached the care bears.

Last night I rode bikes with my Grandmother Jean. And when we rode down my Grandmother Jean's frind's drive way I said aaaaaaAAaaaa. Then we whent bake to my Grandmother Jean's hose. Then my Grandmother Jean walked me home. Then I whent to bed.

Swish was a mouth wash we all had to use back in elementary. We got it in paper cups kind of like what you use to get your ketchup in at Wendy's. Maybe a bit bigger. It was pink at one point and green at another. I can't remember which color/flavor came first. Apparently it was actually a brand of mouthwash. I don't know if it still exists or not.

My favorite book is Freckle Juice case Andrew put blue macc marker on his face. My book, I hate the name of it is someting.
Mrs. Ford was a substitute we had. I remember on the playground the kids would sing "Mrs. Fooooord have you driven a fooooord lately?" - like in the commercials that were out back then.

Agust the 8th is my birthday and I hope I'll get my play Chismas Barbe.
I got the Holiday Barbie every year for Christmas, but was never allowed to open it up and play with it.

I am going to have a brose becase I was ackting like Tarzan. My BooBoo hurts. At home sometimes I have to jump.
Dear lord. I remember this. I had been staying with my mom, in the very house I am in now. She had this low down cushy couch that I swear had to be from the 70s. It was of a hard yellow frame, I want to say with a sort of white splatter and/or black pepper looking "design", with green and white striped cushions. There was a yellow coffee table to match. I had tried to jump from the couch to the coffee table. I missed and skinned my shin.

Today is my G.A.'s day and I am going to have fun there. My G.A. class is at my sunday schooll. I like it there becase I have fun there. We have monkey bars there. My Anunt DANes takes me there.
G.A.s was some sort youth thing at my church (baptist). I can't remember what it stood for.

Today I'm waring my fancey hairbow it has dark and light perpal stars. I love my new hairbow. This is my favorite bow.
I remember a similar bow, at least I'm sure it was a different one. It was a clip-on bow of clear plastic with beads in it. I was convinced it was candy and made my mom cut the bow open. Needless to say it wasn't candy.

Today are penpals are coming to are school. Today after lunch and we are going to have fun. My pen pal's name is Sally Read. I hope she will like me. And I hope I will like her too. I made a book on a lamanated plastec paper shrit. We are going to draw are penpal a pecher. I brot two thing and those things are my Highlight magazen and my make balef whesle. I hope Sally will bring her jump rope if she hase one. Next time I am going to bring my rainbow jump rope.
Heavens help, I remember this. My aunt (the teacher's assistant) had been telling us about our pen pals while at the same time trying to fill me, her niece and the newest student in on the whole deal. I remember her (or maybe it was the teacher) telling us how to write letters, "Dear So and so..." and I wrote that down and my aunt had to tell me I wasn't supposed to literally write "Dear So and so," LOL. Also Sally wasn't my pen pal. My aunt had used Sally Ride, first American woman in space as an example name and I misunderstood.
ADD has lead to some interesting childhood memories.

My favorite game was teh game with the big balls with the handle. I fell off of the big ball 2 times. When I whent to the socerfild I fell down and landed on my but and bit my tongue and cryed. My mommy came too. She knows how to get me moving.
I remember those balls. They were red and you sat on them, held the handle and bounced around the gym. I always felt like I had a big ant-butt with those things. I think they were called Hippity Hop Balls.

Saturday I'm going to pass out seeds and squruls at a wedding rechapchen. But I don't know what squrus are. I hope that I'll get one of two. My mommy is giving the punch to pepole in Mark W**** and Jeanna's weding. When my mommy gets maredy agin I'm going two be the maid of honer. And I'm going to war a blue dress at Mark's weding. And a pink one at my mommy's . My mommy mit not get mared. But if she dose I'll have a stepDAD. I gust hope I won't have a stepfather. I Lov emy daddy vary much.
I didn't have the best understanding of how weddings worked. Also I handed out scrolls. If I recall correctly, my mom ended up doing something else. I was never in my mom's wedding. She's since been twice remarried. As for Mark and Jeanna, well I'm facebook friends with their daughter, my cousin.

June 3, 1991 G's day.
Last saturnight I was at a weding rechapchen passing out brid seeds to pepole. My mommy surved punch but she was supose to surve cake nsted I tink I saw Mrs.T******* there. My mommy's cnsn and my cusen got mared to Jeanna B***** and Mark W**** (That was redundant, lol) When was 3 years old I got my ears persed and I didn't cry. When I get mared I'll have a vall made out of daseys and butter cups.
Actually Mrs. T was my pop's brother's daughter, my cousin. I was totally unaware of that at the time. Also just FYI I'm not married, nor do have plans to have a veil made of flowers, not sure how that'd even work. Heck if I do maybe I'll do a daisy and buttercup circlet thing just to make this old journal entry true, lol. Love the random ear piercing bit, lol.
